    At the National Quilt Museum from August 13 through November 16 is "The Chorus Line: Fawn & the Boys" (Refraction #27), part of "A Horse's Tale"  in conjunction with the World Equestrian Games.

    "Movements" was awarded first prize by artist Jerry Jacobson at "Art Quilts XIV: Significant Stitching", the show held at the Chandler Center for the Arts, Glendale, Arizona. The award was sponsored by The Bernina Connection in Phoenix.

I love hard-edge painting, and my own work in cloth and thread reflects this.  The fabric and flat filling, together with the texture resulting from the simple stitching lines, are all that I use.  I work in both block and over-all compositional formats.
