About Fabric Art:

Pat's art is made from 100 percent cotton.  She uses commercially available solid fabrics, as well as hand-dyed fabrics from Janet A. Smith.

Hanging fabric art is similar to hanging a painting. Storing it is much easier. As with all fine art, fabric art should be hung out of direct sunlight.

To Hang: Insert a thin lathe board into the hanging sleeve attached to the upper back of the art piece. Holes at both ends of the lathe allow for several hanging options. The lathe board can be nailed directly to the wall. Alternately, thin line can be threaded through the holes, knotted, and then hung from picture hooks.

To Store: Remove the lathe board. Roll the art piece over a tube, and then cover it with a dust cloth.

To Clean: Vacuum the piece through a fine mesh screen, or with cloth covering the vacuum nozzle.
